python3-flake8 software package provides code checker using pep8 and pyflakes (Python 3), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-flake8
python3-flake8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-flake8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-flake8 *
You will get with python3-flake8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
